Here to Help You on Your Journey to Finding Yourself
Hi, there. I am a CA LMFT dedicated to supporting people to get unstuck and improve their lives through trauma-responsive, human-centered therapy. Many of my clients are working to heal from trauma, struggle with losing themselves in romantic relationships, or feel like they move through life hiding from the world.
If you are feeling stuck, having trouble moving forward, or don’t even know what you need or want, I’m here to help you get to know yourself a bit more. With some gentle compassion and probably more than a few laughs (and some existential dread), we will work together to support you as you get more in tune with your needs and wants, deconstruct your ‘shoulds,’ and learn how to express yourself more effectively.
I firmly believe that the ability to heal lies within each one of us. I do, however, recognize that we are not immune to the role systemic challenges play in our lives and their inherent effect on our individual and collective mental health. That is why I work from a lens of liberation psychology, work to practice cultural humility, and always work with clients to explore any internalized shame which may be societal (see those ‘shoulds’).
After working together, you can expect to have grown closer to your authentic self, confident in your ability to self-abandon less and not feel the need to hide so much from vulnerability. You will have developed tools to feel more connected to your body, soothe your inner critic, and feel better equipped to sit in discomfort.
Therapy can be fun AND productive
Are you feeling stuck?
Ever find yourself thinking ‘I know all these things, yet still have so much trouble breaking patterns I see holding me back.’ We can know so much, but our cognitive brains don’t speak for every part of us.
I specialize in therapies designed to integrate mind and body for an impactful therapeutic experience.
